Campground Rules

Registration / Check-In

Check-In starts at 3:00 pm. Rainbow Ranch requires all guests to check in at the office prior to going to the camp area. All guests must sign a Release of Liability form at the time of check-in. While we do not expect anyone to experience any problems at the Ranch, accidents do happen. Use of facilities implies acceptance to Release of Liability. *** Rainbow Ranch does not assume responsibility nor provide any insurance protection for its guests or their property. *** All camping fees will be calculated and collected upon check-in.

Reservations & Rain Event

A MINIMUM 2 NIGHT STAY is required on all Event Weekends.
A MINIMUM 3 NIGHT STAY is required on all HOLIDAY Weekends.

Effective January 1, 2024, a full refund will be made for any reservations cancelled 11 days or more before the arrival date, minus a $15 processing fee. There will be no refunds on cancellations made within 10 days of the arrival date. All No Shows will be charged for the full reservation. We will try to accommodate any special request for specific campsites, however, we reserve the right to move parties to other sites if necessary. *** Rainbow Ranch is open rain or shine every day of the year. We do not provide refunds for inclement weather. ***

Children

Children are welcome at Rainbow Ranch. However please note for the protection of all children and our campers we require the following documentation be provided upon checking in:
1) copy of the legal parent / guardian's drivers license
2) child's birth certificate or SS card
3) Temporary Medical Power of Attorney if the child is not accompanied by their LEGAL Guardian/ parent.

Though we do welcome children year round, be aware some of our special events are adult oriented and may not be appropriate for children. Parental discretion is advised. Children must be accompanied by a legal guardian at all times while on the property. Please feel free to contact the Ranch if you have any questions. Parental documentation is required prior to entering the campgrounds. *** These forms are located at the bottom of this section of rules for your convenience. ***

Restrooms

The restrooms have hot water showers and flush toilets. Cold water showers are located outside which can be used to cool off on hot days or to wash your feet before entering the restrooms. All of the restrooms have A/C and heat. Please be considerate of other campers as the restrooms are for everyone's use. Please use the showers conservatively.

Nature Trails

You are welcome to hike and wander in the woods as you choose, but please stay out of the pastures as they are currently used to grow hay. Please do not cross the fence into property belonging to our neighbors.

Pets

*** Pets are welcome in the rentals for $15/night per pet. ***

*** We require all pets to be on a leash or tied within their campsite at ALL times. ***

Pets without a history of aggressive behavior are welcome. Pets are not allowed to wander the campground. Please be considerate of others and pickup after your pet. You may dispose of your pets waste in any of the trash containers located throughout the campground. Management reserves the right to require pets be muzzled or otherwise restrained to ensure the safety and comfort of other campers and our staff. We know you have the sweetest pet in the world but to keep the peace, please keep your pet on a lead or tied at all times. A $10.00 fine may be assessed per pet each time they are found not being on a leash or tied within the campground.

Trash Disposal

There are trash barrels available throughout the ranch for trash disposal. Please clean-up around your campsite and dispose of all trash before leaving.

Lake & Pool – Swimming

*** Pool hours are 9 am to 9 pm. ***

The lake has not been cleared for swimming. Swim at your own risk as there is no lifeguard on duty.

No diving, running, jumping, or horseplay is permitted in the pool area or on the piers.

All rules must be followed or you may be asked to leave the swimming area or campground.

*** Children under the age of 18 must have a parent or adult supervision at all times. ***
Children under the age of 18 are not allowed in the pool after 6 pm.

NO GLASS CONTAINERS or PETS allowed in pool or pool area for any reason. .

NO NUDITY IS ALLOWED AT ANYTIME IN POOL AREA OR ON RANCH PROPERTY

Outdoor showers are located outside of both the men's and women's restrooms. Please rinse off excess mud, dirt, grass, before entering restrooms and/or indoor showers.

Pool gates are to be kept closed and latched.

FENCE JUMPING when the pool is closed will not be tolerated and loss of Pool Use will result

Picnic Tables & Fire Rings

Picnic tables and fire rings are provided for your use. Please do not remove them from another campsite. are welcome to have a campfire within the rings provided as long as Limestone County has not issued a Burn Ban. Please do not make fires outside the designated fire rings. Please do not leave fires unattended. Firewood can be purchased at the office.

Campfires

You are welcome to have a campfire within the rings provided as long as Limestone County has not issued a Burn Ban.

Please do not leave fires unattended.When available, firewood can be purchased at the office for a small fee of $5.00.

Restrooms

 Report any mechanical problems to Rainbow Ranch staff immediately. No unattended minors in restroom. Do not leave soap, shampoo, wash clothes, towels, razors, clothes, etc. in restrooms. Do not place paper towels, tissues, baby wipes, feminine hygiene products, etc. in toilets. Please use trash containers. Do not pour grease or chemicals of any type in toilets or drains.
Please report outages of toilet tissue, paper towels, soap, etc. to Rainbow Ranch staff. Please report cleanliness issues to Rainbow Ranch staff. Please use outside showers to remove any excess dirt, mud, grass, etc. before entering restrooms and/or using indoor showers.

Quads / 3 Wheelers / ATV's

Due to noise and safety we do not allow 3 wheelers, 4 wheelers, or any form of ATV's on the property.

Parking

There is space for two vehicles per campsite. Additional Vehicles, Boats, Jet Skis and trailers can be parked behind the Grey Ranch House at the front of the property at no additional charge.

Ranch Gates

We lock the ranch gates when it gets dark and reopen them at 8:00 am during the week, Sunday through Thursday. Gates are open on Friday and Saturday from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm. If you will be arriving late, leaving early, or plan to be outside the gates after dark please notify the office for special arrangements.

Office hours are:
Monday – Thursday -- 9:00 am until 5:00 pm.
Friday-- 9:00 am until 9:00 pm.
Saturday-- 9:00 am until 5:00 pm.
Sunday -- 9:00 am until 1:00 pm.

IF THERE IS A PROBLEM PLEASE LET US KNOW IMMEDIATELY REGARDLESS OF THE TIME!

Vendors / Solicitations

Before offering any service or product to other campers you must have approval from the ranch management.

Golf Carts

***All golf carts must have proof of insurance to be operated on our property and proof of insurance must be shown at the office upon arrival. ***

Due to noise and emissions we are only allowing electric golf carts at this time.

Golf Carts must be driven on the roads only and should NOT be driven on the grass under any circumstances. Speeds must be kept under 10 mph. Pedestrians always have right of way.

Parking is permitted only in designated areas. Please see the ranch staff if you have any questions.

Quiet times must be observed at all times. Quiet hours are 11 p.m. to 9 a.m.

Golf carts cannot be driven through tent sites areas during quiet hours.

All Golf Carts must be properly maintained and in working order at all times.

Golf Carts must be equipped with permanent headlights and the headlights should be kept in working order at all times and used after dark.

Each passenger on a golf cart must be seated in a seat and should not be standing at any time. Limit the number of passengers to the number of seats on the golf cart. Limit the number of passengers to the number of seats on the golf cart.

No one under the age of 18 is allowed to drive a golf cart.

Carts may not be driven recklessly or at excessive speed in the camp ground area. Failure to drive responsibly could result in fines and/or losing cart privileges, or expulsion from park.

Cart owners will be held responsible for any damages to ranch or guest property.

Special Notices

No Fireworks – No Firearms
No Illegal Substances – No Nudity
Under age drinking is not be permitted.

Please enjoy the Ranch and remember to be considerate. Please keep noise and music levels down.
Quiet hours are from 11pm to 7am (except special events).

MONTHLY SITE RULES & POLICIES

Trash / Dumpsters

Trash Cans:
Do not remove ranch trash cans from their designated sites. It is suggested that you put your name or site # on your container. Please take your garbage to the dumpsters at departure. Any wood items can be placed on the burn pile and any metal can be placed in the metal pile behind the front barn.

Vegetation:
Please remove leaves, mulch, etc. from bags and place them in the burn pile. Do not blow leaves into your neighbor's area, creek beds, or into the road.

Rainbow Ranch will no longer haul off the following items (You must remove them from the campground):
Tires, Batteries, Mattresses, Appliances (Grills, refrigerators, stoves, microwaves, etc.), Patio/Lawn furniture or structures, Lawn equipment, Power tools,Tarps, Building materials, Scrap Metal, Propane Tanks.
***If you are not sure how to dispose of something, please ask.***

Pavilion

The Rainbow Ranch pavilion is for the use and enjoyment of all guests. No unattended minors allowed and no minors allowed after 9pm.

Sound Equipment: Only operated by Ranch management or with permission of management. Misuse of Sound, Lights, and Electrical Equipment will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave the Pavilion.

Please stay away from entertainment equipment.
Please do not place food or beverages on pool table or near electrical equipment. Do not sit, stand, or lay on pool table. Please report any misuse of, damage, or malfunction of equipment to management immediately.

There will be a $250 refundable deposit for personal event use of the pavilion. i.e. weddings, birthdays, etc., as well a $50 non-refundable fee per day to reserve the pavillion. 

Kitchen: It is the guest's responsibility to clean up after themselves. All appliances, counter tops, sinks, etc. are to be cleared and cleaned after use. No food or beverages are to be stored or left in the refrigerator unless during a ranch sponsored event. Any food, beverages, or food containers left in the building will be thrown away.

Please pick up your trash, bottles, etc. and place them in the provided trash receptacles when exiting the building, and trash needs to be hauled to the dumpsters.

Ranch Sponsored Meals: It is the responsibility of all guests to wash and remove their own containers immediately following a ranch sponsored meal. Any containers remaining will be disposed of by ranch management.

Septic system

Only Formaldehyde Free chemicals are to be used in black water holding tanks.

Only toilet tissue made specifically for an RV is to be used.

No paper towels, baby wipes, tissue, etc. to be flushed into septic system. Please dispose of those in trash.

When emptying tanks, please drain black water tank first, then grey water tank to flush black water through system.

Do not leave tank valves open.

Sewer connections are not to be glued, to allow for clean out (snaking) if lines become clogged.

Guests / Visitors

All guests and visitors of Rainbow Ranch Family and Family members must pay the fee of $15 per day.

If a Family Member wants to loan their trailer/RV they will need to notify the office and will be charged $42.50 with sewer and $40.00 without sewer per day for 2 ppl. The guests will need to check in at the office upon arrival.

Site Modifications

Any and all modifications to RV sites must be approved by Rainbow Ranch Manager/Owner. This includes, but is not limited to, tree removal, pad changes, water and sewer connections/additions, decks, etc.

No permanent structures can be built on the property.

No outside contractors are allowed to perform any services unless approved by Rainbow Ranch Owner/Manager.

Security

Gates will be locked at dark Sunday through Thursday and 10 PM on Friday and Saturday. If you plan to arrive after the gates close, please call and notify Rainbow Ranch management and arrangements can be made as needed. Main gate is unlocked at 8 AM every morning, so please make plans accordingly.

For the safety and enjoyment of our guests we ask that you report any infractions of ranch rules and policies to the Rainbow Ranch staff (any time, day or night) at 254-729-8484. This includes, but is not limited to, misuse or destruction of ranch or guests property, inappropriate public behavior, and physical or verbal harassment. Please, do not try to handle either of these situations yourselves. Contact Rainbow Ranch staff immediately and let them handle it. Physical confrontations will not be tolerated under any circumstances and will result in the violators being forced to leave Rainbow Ranch.
Please report any unattended minors to Rainbow Ranch staff immediately and at any time.

Pets

All pets must be kept on leashes, in fenced areas, or tied out at all times and should not be left unattended.
Pets must be secured as not to be able to get into roads when tied.
PETS ARE NOT TO BE UNATTENDED AND ALLOWED TO BARK AS TO CREATE NOISE POLLUTION.
When walking your pets, do not allow them to harass other pets that are tied, leashed, or fenced.
All pet droppings must be picked up and disposed of in trash containers, including droppings in your site by your pets.
All pets must be current on all immunizations and vaccinations. Please keep your records with you in case there is an altercation.
No pets are allowed in the pool, pool area or pavilion at any time.
Violations of the above policies will be cause for citations to be given in the amount of $50.00 per pet per incident.
Owners of pets found to be dangerous to guests or other pets will be asked to remove the pet from the campground.
It is the pet owner's responsibility and liability to pay for any and all medical and/or veterinary costs incurred due to damage done by their pet.
The hay field area is the only designated area where pets are allowed to be unleashed to run and exercise. Please be cautious, as people will be driving or walking through this area also.

Children

All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by their legal guardian at all times. This includes pavilion, pool, restrooms, pier, trails, etc.

One child under the age of 10 is free per reservation. Regardless of age, any other child will be charged a nightly fee of $15 per day.

A legal guardian must accompany any child under the age of 18 at any rental at all times including overnight. i.e. tent, RV, cabins, trailers, house or apartment.

No child under the age of 18 is allowed in the pool area after 6pm.

Site & RV Maintenance

The exterior of the RV is to be washed at least yearly...once every 12 month period.

Management reserves the right to notify you of needed cleanings and will allow a 30 day period before having cleaning done and costs given to tenant to pay.

Site maintenance is to be performed in a timely fashion due to the seasons and management reserves to the right to notify you when attention is needed on your site. You will be given 30 days to clean your site before work will be done and the costs given to tenant to pay.

No clearing of vegetation is allowed with consent of management or owner.

RV (when leaving campground)

Turn off outside water to RV. Drain water from lines inside RV.

Turn off all indoor and outdoor lights. Turn off all fans, televisions, hot water heaters, A/C or eletric heater.

Smoking

Cigarette disposal containers are located outside all rentals and public buildings, and in the pool area. Please do not throw cigarette butts on grounds, roads, etc.

Please, help keep this a "smoker friendly" campground.

Noise

Each Family Member should be able to enjoy their site and RV without constant excessive noise from other sites. Beginning January 1, 2024, we will be implementing rules to handle constant noises such as screaming, hollering, loud parties or get togethers and other nuisances. The first noise complaint will be an in person warning. The second warning will be written and will include a $100 dollar fine. Third warning is a $200 dollar fine. Fourth warning is a $300 dollar fine. Lastly, the fifth time will be Monthly Site Agreement cancellation.

Property across the street - Roads & Trails

At times, this is a hunting area. There will be an orange and white barricade posted when they are hunting. At that time no admittance is allowed.

Use of this property is at your own risk at all times. Driving past barricade without approval will result in golf cart privileges on this property being revoked..
Failure to comply with any or all policies and procedures are grounds to be permanently removed from the park.
